Gifts are something I buy as gifts for people. With items marked personalized, a black permanent marker will be included with the item so that you can personalize it yourself. Despite my inexperience, I purchased this to show my creative side to a friend. I won't claim to be an artist, so I drew on it with a soft pencil and then went over it with the provided tip-on It may have been better to use a more durable transparent window. There is at least one unique feature about it.

There are no washers that hold the plexiglass in place on the little wooden pig but the piece of plexiglass was cut too small and would not stay on with the washers. To keep it from falling off, we had to put a larger washer on it. In other words, it is a good tool.

The way you put it makes sense to me. It would have been nice if the screws were black (quick fix) and the plex glass was thicker/stronger (easy but, taking longer to install). Nonetheless, I think my purchase is a good one. It is my motivation to purchase the wood because of its uniqueness and craftsmanship.
