The COVID experience inspired me to take a different approach to parenting my daughter, 14 years old, and husband, who are both 38 years old. As hoped, the item and quality were included as well as it was packaged with care. The picture was hung on the wall in my kitchen without any comment. We did not even have to change the position of our names on the chart. A response came immediately. In time, I discovered the name of my daughter in various places - Amazing one day, Warning the next. I have also noticed a modulation in my husband's. Occasionally, I move mine depending on how I feel and sometimes I leave it for a while to find a good position. While DH and DD are getting ready to deal with COVID/beginning, both are currently put in Warning while heading out the door. The spring season Take a break. As part of It was COVID's turn to be angry. The first time I have been alone is as I sit here drinking a capuccino watching Open House NYC. Despite the fact that the response doesn't last forever, it was a good purchase overall. But I have a sneaking suspicion that it is going to continue to play a role in our lives off and on for the next few years, because truly, you need a little bit of humor and mindfulness when tracking your own behaviours in general as well as when facing current events.
It's simplicity is what I like most about this chart. Keeping chore charts up to date for 3 kids isn't my strong suit. I am thrilled to hear this. It's important for kids to know what's expected of them. Rather than yell or nag, I'm able to follow instructions. For poor choices and not completing a task, I remind them to move up a color when chores are completed or when they do something exceptional, and I remind them to move down a color when chores are not completed. This is simply because of how easy it is and how independent they feel. Our kids are ages 5, 7 and 9 and they find it very helpful.
I love that it has visual warnings etc. for my kids, and this is perfect for them. I am even happier that I have personalized it for each child's name.
For my third child who is on the autism spectrum and my two other children, this product was a perfect fit. The product I received was laminated in such a terrible way that the bubbles bulged out. was informed that my money was refunded immediately, however.
I also like that names are personalized for it.
I really like this! For mom, it's a total win!.
Because of the size of the page, the item can only monitor four children. The format I like, but the item is limited to 4 children.
