The cover is a 1/8" or so thick piece of wood with the engraving of your choice on the cover and spine, which has a flexible joint at the spine. A pandemic has prompted everyone at home to do more cooking at home. Younger ones are cooking for themselves, so it is a great time to write their own recipe books. The older ones remember the home cooking they used to eat, and the younger ones are getting into cooking. Being a master carpenter, I can say that these features are truly stunning. I was blown away by the quality and beauty of these books. This should have been given more than five stars because it was simply out of this world.
However, I am thrilled with my purchase, as it arrived sooner than expected. I am eager to start adding my recipes to the site. There isn't a divider for me to sort out the food and drinks, but it would be nice if it were. It is because I ordered a big A5 book that the second picture turned out a little blurry.
The book is very well-made and will certainly last a long time. It was a gift for my daughter - I was told by my daughter-in-law that some of our family recipes she wanted to copy. This will be a Christmas present for her that I will give her just like that. As well as the recipe pages, I purchased extra blank ones for her. It was much quicker than anticipated that I received the book. only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because I wish the binder clips were larger, the ones that came with the book (I bought the large size book) look as though they may hold 30 sheets of paper. It is a full-color book with 40 pages, but again, I cannot emphasize how beautiful it One issue I encountered was that after purchasing the book on Amazon, it was advertised for $12 cheaper just a few days later. A credit was not possible at this time, which is the seller's policy, so I contacted them to find out if I could get a credit. It was just my timing with respect to the pricing that was off. As such, if you're looking to give someone a gift that will really stand out, then this is definitely a worthwhile investment.

Purchasing for my niece, a daughter and a dear family member of mine, who wanted to receive something special from me with her favorite food. These are handcrafted and are made in the Ukraine. They are well worth the price. The product was made very quickly and shipped out quickly. You must be careful in regards to your spine, however. There is a possibility that it will crack when squeezed. You shouldn't let your children play with this! Due to its delicate and beautiful construction, this item is handmade.
