First and foremost, my walking stick arrived much sooner than I anticipated. When I opened the box and removed the walking stick from its secure packaging, I was blown away by its craftsmanship and artistry. I took it outside and walked around town with it, receiving five compliments. I almost didn't want to tell them because I didn't want a whole lot of people walking around with me. My appreciation to the artist, and I will treasure my walking stick.
It was delivered on time and in perfect condition, which was a pleasant surprise. The wood is absolutely stunning. Color, finish, size, shape, and carving are all excellent - He had hoped for something like this. He'd been looking for something like this for a long time and is now delighted to have it. He'd like to know what kind of wood was used to make this one. It's extremely durable and practical, and it's well worth the money! I would strongly suggest it.
It didn't bother him that the artist who carved the old man's initials into the stick had left his initials on it. It's as if I bought a used hiking stick that had someone else's initials on it. I understand that he is proud of his work, but for the price I had to pay, I would rather have my initials on it. Who is D E, and why should I be interested? It's preferable to send along a document about the artist, which isn't mentioned in the description.
Furthermore, the workmanship is exquisite. It's perfect; I got the 58" and it's the perfect size for me. The owl appeared shortly after I placed my mountain man order. The owls are a favorite of the wife. I reached out to the seller to see if I could switch and was able to do so without difficulty. It didn't come with a leather strap. Getting it, however, was not a problem. br>Well worth the money, and if the seller makes these, I salute him or her. br>I receive a lot of positive feedback. The only drawback, and it's a minor one, is that the tip wears out quickly; a two-pack replacement can be purchased for $5. 00 at RiteAid. br>If you're reading this, stop reading and go buy one. br>Thank you, Rickbr>.
I HIGHLY recommend this walking stick to anyone looking for a nice, sturdy walking stick! The only drawback is that now my wife wants one as well!.
Not some cheap flimsy staff, but something very sturdy and attractive. I would not trust any other for large people; I looked at dozens and this was the best; the height can be customized. MAT.
My father has reached the age of 76 years. He is having difficulty getting around, but does not want to appear to be an "old man" walking around with a cane. As a result, I went out and bought it for him. It is something he adores. He also claims that because of its height, it is easier to use. This purchase has made me very happy.
This is a fantastic walking stick! It's lovely and extremely durable. It is well worth the money.
