I barely notice it when it's on because it's lightweight. It was a perfect length for me as well. Do you know how necklaces can turn around so that the clasp ends up alongside the charm when they are the right way around? This necklace isn't at all supposed to do that There was never a time during the entire day when this occurred. My favorite part about this piece is that it sparkles beautifully. My only regret is that I didn't travel more.
