Feb 19: This item is extremely durable. It was easy to spread apart to fit around my wrist, and the packaging was a little smooshed when it arrived in the mail, but that was no big deal. I really like it. I've taken it off a few times and it's still in perfect condition. The quality is excellent. br>br>Secondary reviewbr>Mar 31: After removing it and bending it to shape my wrist several times, it is still holding up. (Sleeping with it on can cause it to deform) The outer band can withstand sweat and water (I shower with it on), but the inner band is a different story. If the band is loose enough to move on the wrist, the inner band will tarnish and leave a black mark. *A simple fix is clear fingernail polish or not getting it wet all the time. br>br>I still adore it and wear it on a regular basis, receiving numerous compliments. It's still a five-star rating.
In Nashville, Tennessee, I work in construction on high-rise buildings. I've put this bracelet to the test, putting it through hell and back between rebar and regular ranch work. I've had a few before, but none have lasted as long as this one. Since I bought it, I've only taken it off three times. They aren't designed to be switched on and off. It's gotten a lot of positive feedback. Because of my day-to-day work environment, one side of the bracelet on the outside of my arm is worn. I was expecting it to be shattered or at the very least have cracks by now, but there are none. This has gone above and beyond what I had hoped for. There are much less expensive bracelets on the market, but I can tell you from personal experience that none of them can compete with this one in terms of decoration and durability. I knew it would last the moment I took it out of the box and felt how much heavier it was than the others and how stout it felt, but I never expected it to last this long in my work environment.
It appeared to be too small to fit my wrist, but that's just how they pack it; you can bend it open to fit your wrist; I have a 3 1/2 inch gap, which I think looks good on me; some people may not like that and prefer a closed band, but it works for me because I like the band and need a gap to rest my wrist on the keyboard while typing this review and using the computer in general.
It came in a flash! Furthermore, the bracelet was extremely durable. The details are intricate. It is worn by my boyfriend on a daily basis. Because of how sturdy it is, it's a little difficult to get on and off, but that's fine- Rather than being flimsy and breaking, it is preferable to be durable.
This was bought for a handfasting ceremony. This is for the forearm only, not the upper arm. Even though I have large wrists, I was able to gently bend it open and move it halfway up my forearm, where it sat comfortably. It won't completely encircle the arm in this manner, but it will remain stationary and not rotate much. The inside metal band adds heft and structure to the piece, which I like. The level of detail is astounding; the original model was clearly handcarved. I'm glad I chose this instead of any of the other armbands I considered. br>br>Please keep in mind that this item is made in Ukraine, so allow extra time for delivery if it isn't eligible for Prime.
This bracelet is absolutely stunning. Great attention to detail, and the ravens are fantastic. The only warning I have is that it is quite small. It fits me perfectly because I have small wrists, but it may not fit you if you have larger wrists.
It's extremely well-made and durable. I wear mine a couple of times a week and have no trouble bending on and off (running hot water over it to soften the metal before putting it on helps a lot). I like the art and the flat inner band is more comfortable than most arm rings. In the future, I will undoubtedly order more;.
It can be adjusted without compromising the metal's or design's integrity.
