The ring had some tarnish to it upon arrival, which actually isn't a big deal because I used a jewelry cloth to clean it, but it just seemed odd to me that it wasn't cleaned as soon as it arrived. There is also a possibility the leaves will dig into your skin I tried to bend the pointy ends back, but to no avail.
When I keep checking to see if it has fallen off, I only find that it is still there, I can just barely The shoe stays in place in rushing creek water (barefoot) and on hiking excursions (inside hiking boots). have not encountered any issues with it grabbing on my sheets, as mentioned in other reviews. My wardrobe will be full of this for years to come.
Although the toe ring looks cute, it was tarnished and unpolished when it was retrieved from the package. There was more brown than silver in it. I am disappointed.
However, the leaves are quite sharp so you should use caution when looking at them.
To find a ring so unique to wear on my toes or fingers was so exciting to me! I'm in love with.
