I like this item because it is plain and simple, and it is ready to hang right out of the box. There was nothing left to do but remove the plastic sales tag and hang it on the wall. Sure, you can paint it and personalize it, but if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind gift, this is the way to go. It doesn't get much better than this for a natural birdhouse. br>br>Price: At around $13, this item is a good deal when compared to at least one other vendor's $27 price. For $45, you can get four of these, which works out to $11. It's a slightly better per-unit price at $25 each. price per item, but only if you want to hang four of them. br>br>Bottom Line: I had a gourd birdhouse for a good ten years that finally gave out, full each spring with a nest; this one is ready right out of the box, and has already assumed this important yard duty.
