Our fish pond is home to a large Blue Heron who considers it a buffet.
I bought two of these and am very pleased with both of them. When I took the video, it was very windy, but the heron was unfazed. I'm going to paint the white part that goes over the post to make it blend in better, but otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase! I also received them sooner than I expected, and they were well-packaged.
Phat Mermaid's Dancing Birds are currently in my possession in the number of three. They bob, dance, and spin on a metal shaft in light to strong winds, which I find endlessly amusing. They are not cheap, but they are well worth it to me because of the daily smiles they bring me and everyone else who sees them.

This was something I wanted to put in my garden to add some whimsy. Love it. It moves in response to even the tiniest breeze. Make sure there's enough room between the bird and any nearby objects for it to spin in full circles and teeter up and down without colliding with anything. It's made of a tough plastic that's been painted. I made sure it was in a shaded area to avoid fading from direct sunlight.
I thought the high winds where I live would destroy it, but it seems to be holding up well. Product of high quality.
