This was a gift I gave my cousin and he's very pleased with it. "I haven't used it yet, but I think the construction is solid (no cracks in the wood) and the engraving is fine. I rated it 4 and a half stars because I think it would have been nice if it were The cutting board is fine in my opinion, but I believe that I purchased the smallest size, so I would highly recommend buying one of the larger sizes if you intend to use it for larger items.

The cutting board has not made its way to me because it was sent directly to their address, but my wife called me as soon as she opened it and was so grateful.
