However, I just finished putting these up, and they're stunning. br>I did it myself, and it wasn't difficult. I taped them to the wall first, then unpeeled one part, folded the sticker back underneath it, and slowly pulled it under the sticker, causing it to stick more to the wall. br>I have a couple of tiny rips where one petal meets another from not paying close enough attention as I pulled, but they are still holding up well. When I applied the leafs underneath the flower, they easily pulled up. It seemed like the longer it sat, the more stuck it became. br>br>When I redo my daughter's room, I plan to buy more in a different style.
EDIT: Because it's stuck on a cold wall, a few of the edges are coming up a tad. I'm thinking of using a blow dryer to try to get it to stick better on the edges so they don't come up.
They stick well to normal painted dry wall, but when I check my daughter's room on hot days, the corners are peeling up.
It's simple for me to use. I did hang them on the wall for about a week to let the backing uncurl; because it is shipped rolled up in a cylinder This made it easier for them to peel off a flat sheet, and I was able to visualize where I wanted them to go by looking at it on the wall. I was able to take them down and replace them as needed until I was satisfied with their placement on the wall. For the image you see, I used two sets. If you have a lot of room, overlap them a little or do as the product label suggests. It's possible that you'll require more to achieve the desired look. It didn't seem finished until the leaves were added. They completed the picture. I'll order them again without a doubt.
Easy. Stick to the peel. As was to be expected. It's lovely. It appears to be clinging to the surface quite well. We turned up the heat in the house because it was cold, and we wanted to warm up the walls so they would stick better. STICKY AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF USE. It's very simple. It's not a difficult task. This is something that any individual can do. br>One complaint my husband had was that I had purchased two sets of these, and he wished the images were mirror images of each other rather than identical. I'm content with myself. It appears to be lovely.
A cheaper version is available at a chain store, but these are superior. You get a big one that looks great on your wall. They've managed to keep their grip on the situation. I agree with other reviewers who stated that having two people put them up is ideal, but I was able to do so successfully on my own. I would buy it again without hesitation.
This wall decal was chosen because it complemented the nursery theme of my daughter. When it arrived, it was stunning. It's on the wall now, thanks to me. That's when things started to go wrong. It's simple to put up, but it won't stay up! It took about two or three hours for it to get halfway up the wall with nothing but gravity to help it. We've had to resort to using tape to keep it in place. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long I'll keep the decal up because the edges are starting to peel away from the wall, which doesn't look great:.
This set included pink flowers, as well as leaves. I liked how each flower and leaf comes apart so you can arrange them however you want; I cut each one out separately and used painters tape to lay out the decals on the wall so I could easily play around with placement before sticking them. It was actually quite simple to apply; however, it did take some time. It took about 2 hours to place and hang the artwork (not including cutting time). But it was well worth it, and it made a huge difference in our little girl's room!.
It's adorable, and I adore it!.
