It should be hung somewhere where it can freely vibrate

My husband's Summer Palace (grilling/smoking shelter) was exactly what we were looking for. We are so grateful to Amazon for connecting us with a craftsman in the United States. br>According to some critics, it should have been louder. We discovered that the sound had been muffled by I- Vibrations are transferred to the wood structure via hooks and chains. Our short video demonstrates the best solution we've come up with. We used a thin braided cord that was looped over a thin but strong hook.

This is absolutely fantastic! I ordered it because I remember my grandmother always having one on her porch when I was a kid, and I used to love it. This is a lovely piece with excellent craftsmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend it!.
