The music is the only thing that matters. The notes to the song are played when you twist the twisty thing.

What an amazing piece of work. I received the music box as a gift for my mother, and I was not disappointed at all. I took it out to inspect it, and everything looked and sounded fantastic. A meaningful present

It's breathtaking! I wasn't expecting it to be this small at first, but that's because I didn't double-check the dimensions; the design and custom name are both extremely detailed. On first glance, it appears to be quite lovely. If you want, you can tape a small photo to the top of the inside cover, which is what I did for the gift. The music can be heard clearly and loudly. Definitely a wonderful and thoughtful present.
