Because this little guy is so tiny, double-check the measurements before making a purchase. It was bought for someone who lives in a micro-environment, so it's not quite palm-sized. In this case, being smaller was a plus. It's extremely well-crafted and detailed. Other glass octopuses I've seen have inferior workmanship. It's a nice gift, but it's a little small for the price, but it's a work of art, so it's well worth it.
