The description I read stated the color was emerald green, so I should have regarded it as true. Despite the picture appearing to be a dark teal (at least to me), I was hoping it would actually be a light teal. The shower head will still be used by me, just in a new place and not in In spite of having a 5-foot frame, it is super cute and the perfect size. I was shocked by people saying it was too small because I have a 5-foot frame. They must have giant rings or have a lot of them that these people are trying to fit on it. I put 6 rings on it and it fit just fine.
As opposed to the dark teal color I expected, I received a forrest green. The result I wanted was not what I expected. There is a slight curve in the bottom of the dish, which means that it will not sit flat on hard surfaces and will rattle a bit if the table bumps as you sit on it. Its bottom is made of rough pottery, so if you slide it over a smooth surface, it will scratch the surface. The item would not have been bought by me if I had seen it in person. Though from a distance, it does seem quite enticing.
