What time is it outside?

This is not a clock on the outside.

Do you consider this a non-ethical practice? What time is it? Is it quiet (ie, ticking)?

There is no sound from my clock. My attention has not been drawn to any ticking. I'm not sure if you'll hear it in the middle of the night, since it's in my kitchen, not my bedroom. Although sound is not the same for everyone, each person's sensitivity to it
