Although I have heard that from multiple people, I have never felt the need to leave a review on Amazon before. As a result, I am unable to leave a negative review in this case. Although I had originally wanted a leather cover for my Moleskine journal, I was utterly amazed by the quality of the leather, button, thread, and anything else that was employed. After experiencing their outstanding garment sewing, and style, I began seriously looking into their other product lines. When I say, "high quality", this is no exaggeration, in fact, it is a gross understatement. In my experience, I have not seen this level of quality and consistency in workmanship in a very long time in the States, regardless of the price. It is a rare find to find leather made by M Leather. In addition to the quality of the style and workmanship, the leather itself used by them is thick and high-grade, and is not goat or lamb that is commonly used by other companies here in the United States or abroad. This is genuine cowhide leather, and you can feel it and see it for yourself why this type of leather has not been specialized for years. - I kid you not, this is no less than the quality of the late 19th century and the early half of the 20th century. They are essentially the same products that were used in the 1930s and 1940s The vintage quality is just as good as advertised! Aged 1940s, it is truly vintage quality. I suppose you're familiar with the kind of vintage period quality I'm talking about if you like the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark. It is by far the best, most attentive customer service I have ever seen from Amazon or even a brick and mortar store. My experience with Alice Chen and her staff has been exceptional. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the products I've purchased are perfect. A very important note I have asked for specific customizations for different purchases, and they have been very cordial and open to any ideas I have had and have always followed through. They have even communicated via email prior to finalizing the order to ensure we will both be on the same page. They have also provided some suggestions of their own with regard to my ideas, which have turned out to be better than what I thought they would be!
