It was worth it to pay extra for it to be engraved. Despite my desire not to give him anything overtly girly, my husband especially enjoyed this heart key chain and attached it to his key chain (despite the fact that he is a bearded tattooed manly man). I got him this as a 7 year anniversary gift and it went perfectly with the rest of my copper themed gifts.
