It stands the test of time! I was a little nervous about buying this because previous badge reels I've used either (1) didn't have a strong enough clip to keep the badge in place while being unreeled, or (2) the reel stretched out after a short time and wouldn't retract, rendering the whole thing useless. This badge is fantastic! br>br> I use it every day, and the reel sees a lot of action (I restock Pyxis machines, so I'm scanning in and out of doors and machines all day!). It's been months, and the relationship is still going strong. I would strongly suggest it.

Super cute, but I got the sliding clip, and it doesn't stay clipped to my white coat, which is a major drawback because I have to look for my name badge every now and then. Fortunately, I haven't misplaced it yet, but a sliding back is something I would not recommend.
