The top does open wide enough to fit this stuff inside, but the gusset is only 4 inches wide, which means the salad will not lay flat if it is wider than that. The tote is also not insulated, so you won't be able to keep anything cold in it. Water bottles can be stored in two of the pockets.

The only reason I gave this bag a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wish it was a little bigger. The bag's depth is ideal, but it's not wide enough for me. I'm a critical care nurse and bring a lot of things to work with me: a spiral notebook, a daily planner, a small binder with protocols and procedures, a smaller pencil bag, my clip board, pulse ox, stethoscope, scissors, small flash light, two large forceps for MST and Chest tubes, and a few other really small items (Tylenol, etc) anyway this may seem like a lot of stuff but it's truly All of these items fit snugly (the umbrella isn't necessary, but it's an exterior pocket), and I only wish the interior pocket was a little bigger. Having said that, the outside is stunning! The embroidery is beautiful, and the bag's color is exactly what I wanted. Overall, I like this bag and am hoping that the smaller interior will not cause me to abandon it in a few weeks.

I've *killed* a lot of bags because they couldn't handle the weight of my nursing supplies. This bag is strong, durable, functional, and adorable all at the same time. It appeals to me. I also bought the organizer, which fits nicely in the bag and is extremely useful. I'm confident that I'll get a lot of use out of this bag, and I'm pleased with my decision.
My bag is fantastic! I work as an emergency room nurse, and all of my books, as well as some personal items, fit into this bag. Because the divider I ordered arrived with a hole in the side, I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating. Overall, I think the bag is a good buy.

I'm completely enamored with it! It holds my 15" computer, a large 3 inch binder, pens, a few folders, a water bottle, snacks, and more; it's also quite sturdy, and it's incredibly beautiful and unique. A nursing bag can be purchased at a scrub store. It is overpriced. The quality of the bag is not what you pay for; it's the personalization. For the same price, I bought a much sturdier nursing bag with numerous pockets; this bag has none, and the "divider" they sell is small enough to fit in a purse, which isn't much of a help in this larger bag.
I bought this bag and added a badge holder with my name on it, which I used, and my name on the badge holder got lost on the first day of use, indicating that it did not stick very well. I paid $10 for that badge holder, which I lost in one day! I sent a message to the seller, asking if they could send me a new name to replace the one that had gone missing.
