I love it. A thick layer of leather is present without being bulky, and the tooling is impressive. The barrette has been wearing out over the last few months, but it is getting better with time. I can easily contour the leather to fit the amount of hair I want contained. The leather is more flexible now (do not be fooled by the initial stiffness of the leather). would like to purchase another one when a different color leather design and tooling design are available. This is so great! I adore.

There were a few errors in the design that was punched into the leather and the holes were not as wide as I thought they would be. Previously I bought one at a craft fair years ago and used it to place my hair up in a bun, but I wanted another to keep in my purse just in case. It is a bit small for my long, thick hair, and it is not comfortable for me.
