Gifts for a friend or loved one would be recommended. I knocked off stars because the silicone was too tacky The tip of the spoon discolored the first time I used it with orange food, thought it was squash or carrots. It was washed immediately following the soaking, not after sitting around for hours This was supposed to be put in my baby's hope chest when she has her own children, to reminisce when she grows older, and it came packaged beautifully to maintain its original color. However, I'll have to order another one and not use it to preserve it. I enjoyed it a lot, and find it very cute. The teethers do not hurt 6 month olds' gums when they chew on them, or their hands when they play with them. Then I'll attach them to the bow when I give baby shower gifts in the future.

It was perfect for my two grandsons who were born 6 days apart, 3 years ago, and both of them are in perfect condition. There is a little discoloration on the metal, but the imprint and design are wonderfully clear.
The inscription was very disappointing to me. The problem was that I didn't have time to send it back. Seeing as it was a present, I had to give it in its present form.
