In order to mark our growth charts, we recommend Sharpie permanent markers (not Sharpie pens). If you use a black color, it will look great pretty much all the time, but it could appear subtler on darker dark background, you can also use metallic colored Sharpie markers or a white paint pen (which may take a little longer to dry than Sharpie markers).
