Our sardines are composed of large quantities of herring, a species of fish found along the Northeast coast in During the fishing season, herring can be caught in the Bay of Fundy and Gulf of Maine. Herring landings dominate between June and October, since this is the season when most fish are caught.
In addition to the other standard ingredients, I find a mention of tomato and basil. I bet you could find a can at your local supermarket and read the label on that one.
We have fully transitioned most of our canned product line, including the Brunswick Golden Smoked Seafood Snacks you asked about, to aluminum cans with non-BPA coatings. When the testing is complete, we will begin transitioning those products that are not yet transitioned. The meat is super meaty and the smoke flavor is perfect. When I was on vacation in Canada, I bought it at a Walmart. Because I'm celiac, lactose intolerant and follow the low fodmap diet, there are a lot of different food restrictions I must follow (you may be interested in finding out more about this diet). Purchasing groceries does not provide me with much access to products that are ready to eat. I immediately wished I could try new foods while I was in Canada since I saw the ingredients list above and it sounded like it would be safe for me however, I was excited about the purchase of this item. And I'm a seafood fan. When I first ate it plain in my hotel room, I was overwhelmed by its taste. It's been a weekly habit since then to mix it with mayo, etc. , as if making tuna salad on gluten-free If you want it to stand out even more, add thinly sliced tomatoes. If I have some lemon juice and pepper, I sometimes add them. My personal favorite aspect of Tenderloin is that it is canned, as I am a long haul truck driver and I really appreciate meat that is shelf stable and actually tastes good. There is no space in my fridge taken up by it, so it's convenient. Even though I was expecting a lot, I got 18 cans that will last till March 2019 (the batch I got today is good through March 2019), plus it is only about 20 cents more per can than buying in person at a Walmart. Since Walmart doesn't stock many of them in the US anyway, it's not a problem. If you enjoy fish and smoked meat, I suggest you check these out. Many people who have saw me grab these from the cabinet and have said negative things about them have tried them and are astonished that they like them.
