Two of the twenty packs were ordered. I just ordered two more because I'll be finished with the second 20 pack soon. It's a jack links beef stick with a simple flavor. They were delicious. br>br>The most serious issue was the presence of bones, or more precisely, bone chips. Three of the 35 I've consumed so far did not contain a bone chip. It's not the end of the world, but biting down on something as hard as your teeth and then having to stop and fish around with your tongue to find the bone takes away a lot of the fun. br>br>I'm used to finding bones in my delectable meat by-products, but not at this rate. I'd give them five stars if it was limited to one or two per 20-pack. They're good enough for me, so I ordered more.
It's tangy and delicious, but it's greasy as hell. I got it for a little more than $7 per box, which is a good price per pound for "meat," but there's a lot of lard in it, as with many such snacks. This is delicious, but you're still eating a lot of lard, which squidges out on your tongue and coats your mouth. That isn't really a criticism; rather, it is a statement of fact. I used to crave lard when I was younger, and I'm sure I still do. I could easily consume a large number of these in a single sitting. That is why I have removed them from the "subscribe" list. "save," I reasoned, "because do I really need lard nutritionally?" nitrites? br>br>If you really want to eat lard, this is the place to go. If nitrites were available in a snackable form, this would be a 4-star rating. However, I've decided that having them in this quantity is too dangerous.
I guess I can see why they were discounted. Five of the twenty packs had lost their vacuum seal, and three of them had puffed up. I tried one of the puffed up ones and it had an unpleasant taste that I can't describe; I won't buy these again, and I recommend that you don't either. I'm not going to return these because it's not worth my time. The sealed ones were fine, but I'll stick with something of higher quality in the future. If you're looking for a unique way to.
the cost of beef sticks Each of the 20 beef sticks in the package is. 92 ounce. (The product page on Amazon says they're 1 ounce beef sticks, but that's incorrect. ) ) The total cost of the package is $18. 4 ounces. It's tasty and has a little bite to it - and has a light spiciness to it Each one is individually wrapped to avoid drying out and is moist but not greasy. This is one of the better beef stick brands in terms of price.
For me, the cost of this box was a bargain. I've been paying more than 1 for quite some time. 50 dollars for a single stick that was smaller than the rest of the box. When I first came across Jack Link's, it was by chance, and I've never looked back. It has a deep smokey flavor and a rich meaty flavor, which is exactly what I like. The sticks are easy to bite into and last a long time (though I finish mine quickly)! I ended up putting these on a monthly Subscribe and Save list to ensure that I always have them on hand.
These are dreadful! I tried them out as a keto snack because I enjoy Jack Links Jerky and figured it would translate well to their jerky sticks. I was sorely mistaken. Individually wrapped sticks are nice, but since I'm snacking on them rather than taking them to a soccer game, it's a waste of packaging and a little inconvenient. br>br>The consistency of these sticks is the worst part. Also, the flavor isn't very good. When you bite into one, it has a soft, squishy texture that coats everything it comes into contact with in a paste (imagine bacon grease coating your mouth and all the way down your throat without the bacon flavor!). It has the texture of a thick pudding with a mediocre flavor. Very dissatisfied. br>br> I'm not going to buy anything else.
To be honest, I've been eating these as snacks, but the flavor reminds me of slim jims, the cheap imitation beef jerky, and hot cheetos when I was a kid. I only bought these because they were so cheap, but they have seriously messed up my digestive system. If you can afford real jerky, I recommend skipping this step and saving yourself the hassle of going to the bathroom.
My package arrived in a box rather than a reusable container. It tastes like a cross between a summer sausage and a Slim Jim.
