In the red jar there is Hormel food, in the blue jar there is Armour Star food. Those who prefer Armour Star are my family members.
Expiration dates are Dec 2023 for the ones I have. I've been trying to give the stuff away locally, but it's so salty I can't eat it. One serving of this product contains over 1400mg of sodium. My guess is that I will donate unopened ones to a food bank.

Over the past 70 years, I have eaten Amour beef, first as a child, then as an adult and since 1960 I've bought this product for In my family, we like creamed chipped beef on toast with a nice salad and any of the two veggies or fruits. Despite the price, I am dismayed that I need to spend $6 on a product I can get for $2 at Walmart. The amount is less than 00.
