Anna and Sarah Dried Diced Pineapples Large in Resealable Bag, 2lbs

As the name of the chunks reads "large", I assumed that they were larger chunks since there is no way to gauge size from the main picture. A ring that is in pieces about the size of a dime. There are a lot of tiny pieces here. An average thumbnail is smaller than most. The ratio of sugar to fruit is higher on these smaller fruits in part due to their size. It would be fine if you mixed them into a trail mix or with something to balance the sweetness, but as a snack on its own, the sweetness is a bit overwhelming. Unless they offer pineapple products in larger sizes, I will not be purchasing the brand again unless I see that they also offer a pineapple chunk.

There is a tiny gumdrop size to the pieces. A small piece of fruit catches a full sugar coating when placed in this catch. As a result, it is nowhere near at the same level as the pineapple chunks in their tropical fruit mix. It was not unusual for them to include full sized chunks, but maybe I didn't read the listing carefully enough (there are no pictures of The bag is top notch because it is resealable.

As soon as the pineapple was tasted, I was stunned. Except for sweetness, there was no taste at all. There are just little pieces of sugary, slightly chewy material. It doesn't taste like pineapple at all. There's no pineapple scent to be found. There is nothing. In addition, I purchased a different dried fruit package from the same company at the same time. The situation has improved somewhat, but it is It's not like I have a choice and I'm stuck with what I have. The products are very expensive for what they provide. Please note (PS There is no connection between Covid and this issue. The pineapple drink mix I put into the fruit to save it has left me with a taste in my mouth.

It's nice to have bite-sized pieces like this. The flavor was good. I liked the pineapple bites because they were chewy and soft. It is a great ingredient for cooking and for adding to Purchasing again would be a good decision.

I enjoyed the product and found it to be a good price, but I wish the chunks were larger, like those used Despite the small size of the pineapple pieces in this product, there are still some pineapple pieces in it.
