The snack has been on my menu for a long time. Some times I eat them WITH something, such as soup, and I sometimes serve them as an accompaniment with things like deviled ham. I love them so much! In contrast, this last order tastes stale and does not crisp up. Furthermore, when I pick up some crackers in each paper sleeve, the crackers crumble or break apart into small flakes. This fragile condition was left behind in the factory. I cannot believe they left there like this. There might have been a problem with the transport. There is no way to tell. Yet I nevertheless know that the crackers no longer meet my needs, so I won't be ordering them any longer.
This is not a random problem with just one box, since I am on box two. With these crackers, I have to be extremely careful. They can be so fragile that even touching them can cause them to.
If you are cooking for two or one, you probably have a different recipe. If I use a standard box of crackers, most of them will go bad before I can consume them I find this offering to be perfect! The packs are just big enough to use one or two at a time. I like that part a lot. Each pack (sleeve) yields 1/2 cup of crumbs that can be used as a topping for foods or as I did Taking crab cakes to the market. I'm in heaven.
Ritz crackers are consumed frequently in our household, which is why I wanted to buy a bulk pack to ensure we wouldn't run out. My pantry likes the size of the boxes, unlike huge boxes I've seen at the grocery store. The packets are freshly made and crunchy, the value is good, and the value is great. This item has been added to the Subscribe and Save list.
Besides having anything on them, they are good as well without anything. Due to their packaging, I purchase these often because they stay fresh for a longer period of time. There have never been any problems with broken crackers for me. It has always been a pleasure to receive them in such good shape.
It's a shame that Amazon let this happen. Please send items that are new, and not items that have been on shelf for a long period of time -- The number of hungry people is too large to let them eat.
You can't compare a Ritz to anything else. I do buy these for my dogs, however. Treats are a big hit with them. Salt is good, but not too much. Using the packaging you can control the amount of food you consume. It is also easy to take with you on a walk or to take on the road. I also love to serve these with some of my salmon pate to my human friends!.
While I love Ritz crackers, I find that buying six packs from Amazon is not something I do unless that's what I need. When I took out the packets, I found that many of the crackers were cracked and falling apart. There were a few packages that were severely Grocery stores have enough items on hand now that I don't feel the need to purchase them. It didn't matter what they were made of, they tasted delicious!.
