Carr's Table Water crackers are one of my favorite snacks, so it was great to see that I could get them in my first Prime Pantry order for a reasonable price. There will be no more. Instead of a crisp box that I could bring to a party, I got three smashed boxes-- I knew I had bought Carr's table water crumbs because one of them was torn open and all of them had scars, scratches, and crumples on them before I even opened the inner package. And yep: These are mostly useless cracker shards that come in three sleeves. It's no surprise, given that the carton in which my first Prime Pantry order arrived appeared to have been kicked repeatedly. It was quite hefty. especially since there was a substantial half-pounder in the box. I had never seen, much less requested, a gallon jug of "artificially flavored drink concentrate. " The Carr's cracker boxes appear to have been thrown into a carton with this half gallon jug on top, along with heavy plastic bottles of cleaning solutions and dish soap. br>br>I'm canceling my Prime Pantry subscription if this is how orders are shipped.
This is the cracker for you if you want nothing but plain crackers. Because this cracker doesn't have a strong flavor, I like to pair it with cheese or truffle honey so that I can get a better taste of the cheese and honey. The thickness is ideal, and the texture is fantastic, crisp but not overly so.
These are what I buy to eat with cheese, but they have very little flavor and aren't very crispy. They may be good for getting a taste of the cheese, but I always end up throwing them away after the event. I want to like these as an adult, but I can't.
It's great as a snack or with cheese! As usual, the flavor and texture are excellent. They come pre-packaged, so you won't have to worry about breaking a bunch of crackers when you open them, which is a problem I've had with other crackers.
This is my go-to recipe for spreads, dips, and other things that call for them. in order to crack It sort of blends in with whatever you're serving it with while still providing the necessary crunch. This is ideal for me because I don't want anything to overpower or alter the flavor of the cracker I'm using. Carr's has my business for life!.
That concludes the discussion. br>It appears that they are designed to be that way for specific purposes.
Also. It's quite flimsy and easily breaks. br>This isn't the information I was looking for.
For many years, these have been a fan favorite. Despite the fact that they arrived completely undamaged (unbroken) and sealed in plastic, the entire family agrees that they taste stale and lack the usual crispness - As a result, I'm curious as to what's going on in their warehouse storage.
When I want something sweet, I make these and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on one of them. They had become useless due to their disintegration.
