They appear to be lightly salted to me. I eat them instead of potato chips, which I find to be too salty. This is one of my favorite crackers. It was delicious!

Edit: My rating was reduced from five to three stars. The crackers are fantastic - I highly recommend them. while they're still fresh (which should go without saying). However, you may not have as much time as you would like to finish a box before it goes stale. I ordered a box of crackers four months ago, and we devoured a portion right away. We opened a few more packages today, four months later. They had gone bad - not- worth- It's a little stale what we're eating right now. Because the boxes are in individual packages, I was hoping we'd have more than four months to get through one. The best buy date is two and a half months from today, but I'm tossing them out right now. So we hoped to have at least six months to enjoy them - We tried everything from the time we got them until the best buy date, but no luck. Is there an oyster cracker that is less expensive?br>br>Is there an oyster cracker that is less expensive? To be sure; However, the brand sold at my local store is not as tasty, and 3/4 of the bag is thrown away because we can't finish it before it goes stale. Not only are these individual bags ideal for our needs, but the crackers themselves have a pleasant light texture and a delicious flavor.
This is a fantastic product because I only eat oyster crackers with chili and soup, and my regular box would always go stale. I don't have to worry about running out of these individual packets because they stay fresh. They have a great flavor and are a little bigger and puffier than other crackers I've tried; each pack contains about 15 crackers.
We enjoy these whenever we order them from a restaurant, so we decided to make some at home. However, they arrived in one large box as loose bags, and we noticed that they began to taste stale soon after we received them. I'm not sure what the issue is with the packaging, but it's there. More than half of the box was discarded. It was a waste of money.
I can detect a teeny-tiny hint of baking soda, which is what makes these so delicious. They work well for hors d'oeuvres as well. br>I remember these from years ago, and I was recently on the East Coast visiting as many raw bars as humanly possible, and was served this brand of oyster crackers, which were delicious!br>The only way to save money on shipping is to buy these as an "add on" product when purchasing something else worth $25 or more. I'm not sure if this is exclusive to Prime members, but I am one because I frequently shop by mail.
Remove yourself from the situation. These do not come in the unopened box depicted in the picture. They arrived in separate little packages (each containing about 6 crackers), all crammed into a single shipping box. 50% of the packages are crushed and in pieces, and many other packages have crumbs in the shipping box. Almost certainly taken from a restaurant.
I saved a package of these from a seafood restaurant in Los Angeles that gave them to me with my soup. He exclaimed enthusiastically that these ARE the ones he remembered from his childhood: After floating in his soup for a while, they soften slightly but retain their shape and substance; I was thrilled to discover these on Amazon and ordered a box. He is now an oyster-loving man. We'll order more once they've cracked for a few months.
These oyster crackers are a step up from "regular" oyster crackers, and I adore them. They have a slight baking soda tang. Oyster crackers with a lot of substance. People will notice the higher quality of these crackers if they are served. Who'd have guessed that something as simple as oyster crackers could be improved so much?.
br>br>These don't have preservatives, so they only last about three months, but even if half of them go to waste, it's still a good deal at the current pricing as of March 2017, even when compared to buying bulk bags at the local grocery store.
