They have a delicious flavor and aren't too sweet. This flavor appeals to me more than the others I've tried from KIND. These are tasty, but I prefer dark chocolate because it is richer, moister, and more flavorful. I eat one every day as a sweet treat, and I love that I get protein to balance out the sweetness, and that each individual package contains only 210 calories. I eat it as a light breakfast, an afternoon snack with some fruit or vegetables, or for lunch with a bowl of soup. It gives me the impression that I'm eating a treat while eating whole grains and protein. The bars are a little crumbly, but the texture is one of my favorites. slightly chewy, but with a variety of healthy grains such as amaranth, quinoa, and buckwheat to keep things interesting and varied. I enjoy hearty breads with whole grains and texture, so if you like your food to have a good bite, you'll enjoy these!.
I don't eat granola bars very often because I find them too sugary and not very filling. br>The KIND Peanut Butter breakfast bar has a delicious peanut butter flavor and whole peanuts inside. However, on long hikes when I need the extra carbs and sugars, the KIND breakfast bars are a great snack. The bars aren't sickeningly sweet, even with sugar as a secondary ingredient. However, I object to the fact that this bar contains multiple sugars; there is far too much sugar in this bar. br>It's possible that the bars are flimsy. They're chewy but have a crunch from the grains because they've been baked. br>The super grain mix is an excellent addition to the recipe, but I wish I could detect the grainy flavor. There was no oat flavor at all. Because millet, buckwheat, amaranth, and quinoa are listed so low on the ingredient list, I think it's a little misleading to call them super grains. br>br>Note: The bar was a free sample from Amazon, so I bought it. During delivery, it was crushed.
peanut butter and jelly- This stuff has a banana flavor, but it's not bad. I should also avoid the almond flavors because I have bad teeth.
Breakfast Bars were ordered, and Breakfast Protein Bars were delivered. So I opened one of the boxes to see what was inside, and the bars had obviously been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. The exp. Although the date is June 2018, these bars are so dried out and crumbly that they are unfit for consumption. I'm guessing I'm stuck now that I've opened the box. They aren't rotten; they are simply dry. I'll incorporate them into my smoothie and shop for snack bars elsewhere.
Try eating these without a cup of coffee or a glass of milk in the other hand; they remind me of the oatmeal and cocoa powder skillet cookies that were popular 40 years ago. They didn't appeal to me back then, and they don't appeal to me now. Kind people, we apologize for the inconvenience. I'm going to classify this as yet another loser and toss it in with those dreadful "Kindness" books.
They're especially good with nut butter. The chocolate ones were something I really wanted to like! They are, however, extremely dry and unappealing to the palate. They're not overly sweet, which I like. Both the peanut butter and almond butter varieties are far superior to almost any other breakfast bar I've tried.
I'm not sure I'll buy any more of these. For breakfast, there aren't nearly enough calories, and there's a lot of fat and sugar, with little protein. The flavor was fine; they were a little dry and crunchy, but not in a bad way. After I finished it, I became even more hungry. It is not a good value in my opinion.
I think there's a little too much coca in there for my taste, but that's just me. Good bars and good ingredients.
