Hello! Carrots take a little longer to cook than the majority of vegetables. Have you attempted to cut them up into smaller pieces? That could be the answer to your problem. After a day, I can't imagine they'd be inedible. cooking for an hour and a half Carrots are one of my favorite vegetables. Never before have I encountered carrots that are as tough as nails. inedible! I buy organic carrots from Whole Foods on a regular basis. They are delightful to me. yum yum yum yum yum yum yum y
If you keep them refrigerated and covered, they will last a long time.
I used them in my stew because they were very tasty.
They sent it to me as a customer, but I recommend that you inquire with your store's personnel.

The carrots were old, browned, and limp when they arrived. I'm not going to order from Whole Foods anymore. Maybe if I had been able to choose them myself. Whole Foods does sell organic carrots in bags. It appears that they should have contacted me when the carrots began to rot and offered the bagged variety instead.
My tongue was irritated by something that seemed to have been used to keep the color bright. They turned dark and spotted after I washed them.
In the last order, it was 3 inches. I usually prefer Whole Foods bulk carrots because they are large and flavorful, making them ideal for snacking. I recently received a delivery of bulk carrots that included two (2) different types of carrots. Carrots were only 3 inches long and had little flavor. This change is not reflected in the photo, which is disappointing.
Freshness is more consistent than in most stores. I'm always on the lookout for a whiff of freshness and a sweet carrot aroma. In a "bend test," it was not rubbery.
Whole Foods sells organic carrots in a 1 pound bag or loose for the same price, though the bag ones are usually quite small, leaving little after peeling. When the shoppers replace the bags with loose ones for me, I'll be happy. Although the loose ones are large, they do not appear to be as fresh as the bagged ones. Less peeling, but I usually grate them because the top two inches are too fibrous to grate. So, if you're going to the store, I'd pick fresh ones from the loose piles. If you're not planning on cooking them and instead want to order them online, I recommend going with the bagged ones.
This is the first time I've used the 2-person system. a window of one hour Carrot sticks were substituted for carrots in my order. My carrots were so small and skinny that they resembled candlesticks.
The carrots are always sweet and crunchy when they are grown organically. Whole Foods is where I get them most of the time!.
I've ordered organic carrots several times to make vegetable soup, and I sauté the carrots first before adding them to the soup, which takes a day to cook. Because I'm attempting to soften carrots, every other vegetable is far too soft. I just made a new batch of vegetable soup, and the carrots are still hard after 35 hours in a soup pot; they never soften in my experience. The carrots are as hard as rocks, despite the fact that the rest of the vegetables are overcooked. Hard carrots spoil the entire pot of soup, making it difficult to eat. Is this carrot the result of a botched science experiment? I'm not going to purchase them again!.
