Questions & Answers
They're dried, dead fruits that have been picked. Before all of this, you were in good health. They do not, however, have any added sugar, preservatives, or anything else. They're tasty and good for you. Was that, in fact, the question?
If the manufacturer's phone number is listed on the package, you should be able to contact them to get an answer to your question. Because I have never frozen these figs, I am unable to provide you with an answer.
If my memory serves me correctly, each serving (two figs) contains 26 grams of carbohydrate, making one fig 13 grams. The good news is that figs, with 4 grams of fiber per serving, are a good source of fiber. They're high in potassium and contain no sodium or fat. There are 110 calories in each serving. They're also delicious and satisfying! I hope this has been of assistance.
They're figs with seeds in them.

br>Unfortunately, whatever additive is used to rehydrate the figs I purchased here gives me severe nighttime muscle cramps after eating a few of these as a bedtime snack. br>I'll look through the other reviews to see if anyone else has had this experience.
I'm buying this item for the second time. I was given a bag of juicy and delicious Figs for the first time. The figs are moldy this time. There is black mold on them. I can even return the item and receive a refund. You should be ashamed of yourself. br>KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO. THE SELLER SENDS YOU A GOOD BAG FOR THE FIRST TIME. IF YOU PURCHASE IT A SECOND TIME, YOU WILL RECEIVE A BAG FULL OF ROTTEN FIGS.
First and foremost, I admire Terrasoul as a company. I have bags of their flax seeds, coconut flakes, and other dry products in my pantry and will continue to appreciate their organic products at a reasonable price. br>br>However, these figs were terrible, sort of rotted, (I'm not an expert on food processing procedures, but someone in the fig department is over their head, unskilled or untrained). Maybe it was the long hours spent in a truck or warehouse during the hot summer days? br>br>While Terrasoul "made it right" for me, I feel compelled to write this review because it reminds me of how my own boss places poorly trained, uncaring employees in positions that cause customers to be inconvenienced. In the fig department, something needs to be fixed. br>However, I will continue to buy many of their other organic products; I really wanted to include this in my regular shopping list to support a healthy vegan diet, but I just can't. br>As a company, I continue to give Terrasoul 5 stars.
Though these figs did not have mold on their exteriors, they were clearly past their prime or a poor quality fig prior to being dried, as they had a salty, unpalatable taste unlike any other dried fig I have ever tasted. The majority of the figs in the bag had turned dark brown and had an unfig-like texture. as in odor This is a product that I do not recommend.
So I looked up TERRASOUL on Google and discovered it. I'm in ecstasy right now. Every night, after dinner, I treat myself to these figs! Thank you so much for the fantastic product; I will definitely be placing another order with you!.
This review applies to all of this company's dried fruit products that are available on Amazon (I've tried the majority, if not all). I haven't done a direct price per pound comparison to bulk food items at Whole Foods or similar local brick and mortar sellers, but the prices are comparable and the quality of the products is comparable to, if not better. plus the added convenience of home delivery, without the risk of being exposed to Rona from an in-store purchase a trip to the supermarket for a single person br>br>For the price, you get a decent amount in each pack, and the resealable bags with flat bottoms make it easy to store everything in cupboards (can lie flat on side or stand vertically). The bags are simple to open and close, and they maintain the freshness of the contents. I've bought almost all of the dried fruits they have. I eat them instead of candy, cakes, or ice cream as a guilt-free way to satisfy my sweet tooth. br>br>Dried fruit contains more natural sugars than fresh fruit, but it also contains more fiber and other nutrients. It "chews" like candy and is as sweet as or sweeter than candy, as well as being more filling, allowing you to eat less and feel more satisfied. Cut up with kitchen scissors and combine with oatmeal, sliced apples and oranges, cinnamon, unsweetened powdered cocoa, unsweetened coconut shreds, nutmeg, or plain unsweetened whole yogurt (or all of the above) in a mixing bowl. There are a plethora of ways to combine the above for a wide range of flavors, and you'll end up with a dessert that's healthy but looks decadent enough to rival anything on the menu at the most upscale eateries. To date, knock on wood, I've enjoyed all of this company's dried fruit products. I haven't done any research on this company, its processing quality, or anything else, so you'll have to do that for yourself if you're concerned, but I haven't had a bad batch yet, and I plan on ordering even more in the future.
For several years, I've been purchasing Turkish fix. Amazon is where I usually get them. This is, without a doubt, the best purchase I've made. It's fresh, tasty, and of consistent quality. I'm hoping they keep their quality and don't degrade like the organic Turkish fix I purchased on Amazon. I'm about to place my second order, and I'll keep you updated if anything changes. br>br>Addendumbr>I've been buying this brand on a regular basis since my first review. The quality has steadily deteriorated, much to my disappointment. The most recent order was terrible, and the Turkish figs were nowhere to be found. I'm not buying anything else from this company unless I can get a replacement of the same original quality they sold me the first time.
When these arrived, I was very excited, but after tasting them, I was very disappointed. They have a fermented, almost chemical flavor. This was not what I expected because figs are one of my favorite foods. I tried a couple more, but they were all the same. Although the company was wonderful in refunding my money, I still wanted to leave an honest review.
