Questions & Answers
Driscoll Farms was the brand of the shipment I received, and it was just as good as the ones I'd purchased from Whole Foods.
Red raspberries have a mildly sweet and fresh flavor to them, in my opinion. Their flavor is more smooth (like blueberries) than tangy (like blackberries). However, there are several edible seeds (as with most berries).

When they were delivered, they were rotten.
Before delivery, I'm hoping you can double-check the freshness.
I love Amazon because of its convenience and wide selection of products, but I'm having trouble with the produce on Amazon Fresh and can't seem to find a way to provide feedback to the producers. Raspberries were fresh but crushed, strawberries were old and moldy, and I only ordered bananas once because they were completely green, rock hard, and inedible, so I waited three weeks for them to ripen but they never did. Apples, oranges, and cherries were all of exceptional quality, as were nectarines. I know from my experience in the food retail industry that produce is the most difficult to get right, so I'll give them a pass for now, but we all know they have the cash to figure it out quickly! Aside from that, outstanding work.
Produce often (but not always) arrives with a sell-by or use-by date that makes it impossible to use before it spoils. It happens so frequently that one has to wonder if it's on purpose, given that you can't pick the freshest when you order. Is it possible that they're using online orders to get rid of old inventory? This time, however, it was great. br>br>.
Underneath a clump of apples, the raspberries were smashed.
Sunbelle raspberries are terrible; eight out of ten times, they're moldy by the time you get them. The flavor isn't great even if they aren't old. br>br>I'm hoping Amazon will carry Driscoll Organic Raspberries because they're fantastic.
The berries were frozen after being placed in a bag with a bunch of ice packs for the milk, eggs, and other items. They left a sticky, wet mess in the fridge and didn't taste very good when they thawed. I had to use them in a muffin recipe to keep them from going to waste. br>The berries were fine on their own, but Amazon's packaging ruined them.
