This is my first time reading Amazon Fresh reviews because I've always found them to be tedious. I mean, they're just commonplace foods, but man, was I wrong.
Well. never been measured But it's deliciousbr>And I'm guessing it's about 4 inches longbr>possibly 5. Don't be hesitant. yum yum yum yum yum yum yum y ENJOY!
No, the title claims to be organic when it isn't.
Yes. Please do not send soft, rotten mangoes. That is not how I eat them. They must be hard and fresh for me to enjoy them.

This has been a letdown. But I'm not sure I have the right to complain when a produce vendor refers to a fruit that comes in a variety of colors and shapes as a "red mango. " Is this for real? I'm not sure how well it'd go over if they said they were selling a "red apple. " So, should I be upset because I bought a mango from a vendor who appears to have no knowledge of mangos? br>br>Perhaps not, but at the very least I should be able to complain about its state: the mango was as hard as a rock, with thick waxy skin and no smell. All of this means that they not only picked the mango when it was still young, but they also sold it to me in the same manner. They refrigerated a green fruit that should never be refrigerated until it is fully ripe, so I had to wrap it in a paper bag and store it in a dark cupboard for five days. The mango's flesh developed some give, turned yellow, developed a faint scent, and the skin thinned after 5 days. It could have benefited from an extra day or two of maturation. For those who don't know, this appears to be a strange cross between a Julie mango and something else. Julie's texture was apparent in it: Julie flavor, firm flesh without hairs, sweeter near the seed. It lacks the shape, sweetness level, and skin color of the real thing. It's almost as if a Julie and a small beefy were mated and this was the result. I understand why they did it. br>br>I also understand why they did it. It's ideal for unsuspecting American consumers. The thick skin makes it great for transportation, and the firm yet forgiving flesh makes it suitable for a variety of culinary uses. The skin is mostly red even when the mango is unripe, so it catches the eye of those who can't tell the mango is still very unripe. None of this made it a better mango, and no true mango is sweeter than this. Because a real mango is so sweet, even healthy people are afraid of developing diabetes. Even those that are naturally sweeter are sweeter than this. This is why, when people say they don't like mangos, I always respond, "You've never had a real mango. " Someone created this in order to put something on shelves that would travel well and look vibrant. This is a promotional item, not a fruit. ".
I've made the decision not to let myself down again. I'm not going to order a mango again. br>They have the appearance of mangos, but that's about it. You keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, Until they're ready to eat, that is. Then, once you've prepared them, they're a complete package of bad news - Instead of bright orange, use a light yellow color. Instead of being sliceable, the meat is mealy or mushy. flavors are bland - Nothing compares to a fresh, organic mango in terms of texture. It's a complete letdown. The worst part is that the only way to avoid this dreadful experience is to refrain from eating one of my favorite fruits. Sad!.
I just received my freshly prepared order, which arrived in less than an hour. come on. It's not just a problem with seasonal fruits; it's also a problem with quality. Amazon fresh is no longer available.
They were a soft yellow color. They appeared to have thawed and froze at the same time. There were a few small black spots on one end. Very let down.
They're good mangos, but they're sometimes so hard when they arrive that they take a long time to ripen. I'm not sure why, but they sometimes go bad before they're ripe, so if you need a mango right away (like I do occasionally in a dish), this isn't the best option. It might be in your house tomorrow, but you'll eat it next year.
Mango with a red hue? I purchased four of them, and they were all hard and extremely green. they have black spots on them Customers would be embarrassed if I sent them such fruit.
I've had them a few times now, and each time they've been a good size and tasty. It's so flavorful and juicy. They took a few days to ripen, as expected, so plan accordingly. br>br>This is probably the first time I've written a positive review for Amazon Fresh produce; I don't always have good luck getting fresh produce from them, so I'm hesitant to recommend them all year. They are, however, well worth it for this month.
It could just be the mangos we get here in NYC, but the Amazon mangos far outperform street vendor and even fresh produce mangos. They're big, ripe in two days or less, and a good deal; they're also tasty. br>br>Also, here's a life hack: To learn how to cut and serve a mango, look it up on the internet. The cross-sectional analysis My new favorite way to eat them is to use the hatch method and invert the skin, which keeps your hands from becoming sticky.
