Flattened and shaped into a circle figs are known as garland figs. , similar to what you'd find in a supermarket. Pulled figs are plumper and usually line up in the box, rather than being as compact as flat figs.
The package has no seal on it.

Strange flavor, and the fig skins had a strange texture, as if they had been processed in some way. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not going to do it again. From now on, I'll buy my figs locally.
figs that have been dried Semi- moist and fresh, with an expiration date of more than a year. As a sweet snack, these are fantastic. If you've never tried dried figs, the best way I can describe them is as chewy, tiny seeds with a thin, leathery exterior (in a good way). I don't eat the very end of the stem because it's tough, but it won't hurt you if you do unless you break a tooth (which isn't that difficult). This purchase has made me extremely happy.
I decided to try these because they were out of stock a few months ago. They're a little smaller and have an odd flavor to them. Almost chemical in nature. I'm going to stick with my tried-and-true deli figs.
They are claimed to be unsulfered on the listing for there. There's no mention of unsulfered or preservative-free on the packaging. Sulfites used as preservatives aren't required to be listed on the labels of imported goods. As a result, sulfites are likely to be present. When you have multiple family members who suffer from severe sulfite allergies, you learn not to trust products that do not specifically state that they are sulfite or preservative free. We are unable to use the item because it is not refundable. This is a purchase that I deeply regret.

There is no way a naturally dried fig could last that long. I bought a container of California figs (saturated with preservatives) at the supermarket last Tuesday and have it in my refrigerator; Those dried and preserved figs will be gone in eight months. I opened one of the packets and discovered that there is no company to contact. I'm afraid I won't be able to donate or give them away. I am unable to obtain a refund or credit. There will be no more. The fig packaging, by the way, had no expiration date on it.
They arrived today, and you can see how well the four-pack was packaged. I've eaten six of them just to make sure I'm telling the truth. They're delicious and sweet. The worst I've ever experienced. Natural? Is it true that there are no preservatives in this product? FAIL! Has a strong chemical (bleach) odor and flavor - dreadful - and mentioned in a few other reviews, which I only saw after having my own experience. I bought it twice because the first batch was so good. The second round was a disaster. Avoid. Please submit a report to the FDA. It will help to dissipate if you open the packages and leave them out. However, this is not the case. Perhaps they've been disinfected using an oxidizer (e. g. , bleach). I'm hoping I got a bad batch from the seller. It appeared to be quite appealing. I devoured one as soon as it was delivered to me. It was nicely dried, and the inside looked good, but the flavor was terrible. br>br>I was so taken aback by the flavor that I'm not sure I can even describe it - Maybe metallic with a smidgeon of chemical. Despite the fact that I only ate one of the figs, I will return the rest to the seller for inspection. I adore figs, and I'm glad their company sells them, but please, please double-check your batches before selling them. The date on the label indicated that it would be valid until 2022.
