Melissa's Fresh Blood Oranges (4 lbs.)

When these blood oranges arrived, I was taken aback by how shabbily they were packaged- simply stuffed into a cardboard box The blood oranges turned out to be stale and unfit for consumption. I contacted the seller, who informed me that the oranges were purchased from their neighborhood supermarket. The seller also stated that their resale profits were marginal, so I should not demand a replacement or refund. The seller, on the other hand, offered me a "gift" of their marginal reseller profit. I chalked it up to a total loss, but I feel compelled to inform other potential buyers that these blood oranges are not directly from Melissa's, but rather from a reseller. It is best to buy Melissa's fresh blood oranges directly from her.

Even though I understand that fruits and vegetables have an unknown taste until they come into contact with the tongue, my disappointment was obvious right away. Last year, I bought some delicious blood oranges from our neighborhood grocery store. We were able to freeze the pulp and use it until last week because they were three times their original size. We were unable to use this order for a gift that we had found locally because it arrived too late. I think I'll be able to get enough pulp from these to make a Blood Orange Cocktail. I should have canceled the delayed order after reading the reviews. Amazon should be ashamed for allowing so many negative reviews. If the product had been substantial, I would have been content with the lateness. I would have refunded each and every one of these complaints if I had been an Ebay seller. BUT alias, that is the reason why I am 100% rated Ebay seller and this company is 100% nothing.

Today, I received my blood oranges, which are delicious. My wife is getting an early Valentine's Day present: )br>I have a fantastic batch! I pity some of the other reviewers who were dissatisfied with their batch. I've ordered from here several times and the oranges are always excellent - it must be hit or miss. I live on the east coast (though I'm not sure if that makes a difference in terms of shipping). Next year, I'll definitely order another batch! Thank you very much!.

Years ago, at, I had blood oranges. Yes, I had hoped that the quality had improved, but alas, that was not the case. They didn't appear to be very fresh, and they were extremely bitter. I had blood oranges at a local grocery store years ago and they were sweet and juicy; perhaps I can find a use for them now, but I recommend buying local if you can because these were a letdown.

I had never had a blood orange before, and I was excited to try them. I rushed to open the box when they arrived, but upon doing so, I noticed they appeared to be old, and when I squeezed them a little, I could tell they were dry. So I cut a couple open and gave one a try, and it was bland and dry. I'm not one to return or complain, so I cut them all open and none of them were good, so I threw them out, which is disappointing because I had never tried them before and had heard they were good, and I hate throwing food away, but I didn't have a choice! I wish I had a better outcome! 😞.

They weren't quite as orange as "blood orange," but they were close. They weren't particularly sweet, and they were quite small. I would not purchase from this seller again unless they provided a significantly superior product!.

We'd gotten our second or third order, and two of the oranges had begun to green mold. I don't believe it was the company's fault in communicating with them, nor do I believe it was caused by the covid delays. We placed a second order and were not charged, which was unexpected and demonstrates a high level of service. Orders will be placed again. They're fantastic.
