Selected User Reviews For Gala Apples
Apples are my favorite fruit, but the ones from Amazon Fresh Galas are hit or While the ones from the farm in Maine have a lot of flavor, they are typically very small, which makes them not worth the 80 cents. While some of the larger ones lack flavor and crispness, others do not quite compare. In addition, there are sometimes gashes and bruises on some apples that were obviously there for a long time. I can usually tell the quality of an apple by looking at it, but I cannot get into stores due to the pandemic and caring for my husband alone. It is therefore necessary for me to take what I am given. It is usually a good idea to order two extra items in case some aren't edible.
I have had these arrive pristine, firm, free of bruises, beautifully packaged, fresh, delicious and in great condition in the past. In contrast, the last two orders were unsuccessful. Whether or not the apples are bruised before they are selected for my order, or if they are damaged during transit, every apple in my last two orders has multiple bruises, with four of them actually having skin holes and small holes in the skin. It is unknown what happened, but I need to make sure that the fruit won't be damaged before I get them by getting rubbed in the packaging.
The only ones who were nasty were two. Another pleasant surprise was the good taste and freshness of the others. From April to now, I've purchased them every other week. Getting bad grades is only the second time I have ever done so.
This type of fruit is called an apple. It is a fruit that grows Therefore, they are called Gala Apples, since they love to attend parties.
It is inedible. I ordered these the last time I ordered them and they were delicious, but this time they were gouged and not edible.
I was blown away by the freshness and beauty of the apples, but they were the tiniest I've ever seen. It is likely that I would not have purchased them had I seen them in person.
The products were bruised and some of them were holed.
How much quality control do you do? In case you didn't know, I'm extremely pregnant and this made me puke all over myself. This has been a disappointing period for Amazon!.
