Dried fruit in the classic sense. Some of it was dry, and some of it was wet, but overall it wasn't bad. However. My main gripe was with the flavor. Overall, it was a disappointment. There are more reputable brands available. The flavor is usually better if you use a full Turkish fig.
I'm not gluten-intolerant, so I don't have an answer. You should get in touch with Anna. Sarah's, to be specific. They're fantastic.
My figs do not contain any sulfite. Only the figs have been added.
I'm referring to these as "Dried" I. , who has already lost a lot of water.

I had already placed an order for the organic Anna. Sarah served them with Turkish figs, which were delicious. I ordered the regular Turkish figs this time, and I was extremely disappointed. Approximately half of the bag was deemed unfit for human consumption. Some of them had a mushy consistency to them. It's almost bad. Some of them were completely devoid of flavor due to their extreme dryness. I think I only got about 1 in total. From the three bags, there are five usable figs. I finally had enough of chewing on bad figs and threw the rest away. br>br>Give the Anna a try if you want some really good Turkish figs. Try out Sarah's Organic Turkish Figs. Unless the quality of the product has deteriorated since my last batch, they are excellent. It's difficult to predict quality from day to day with products like these.
These figs are sour and spoiled, and at $21 per pound, they're not cheap. I'm sorry, but I won't be able to return them to you. I paid $23 for the "Anna and Sarah Dried Black Mission Figs in Resealable Bag, 3 Lbs," which were "Anna and Sarah Dried Black Mission Figs in Resealable Bag, 3 Lbs. " The 99 and the "Anna and Sarah Dried Turkish Figs in Resealable Bag, 3 Lbs" are fine, but the "Anna and Sarah Dried Turkish Figs in Resealable Bag, 3 Lbs" are spoiled, sour, and smell off. This is a brand that I will not purchase in the future.
The bag smelled like rotting fruit and alcohol when it was first opened. I attempted to eat a few, but was unsuccessful. I buy figs on a regular basis, so I'm familiar with what good figs look, smell, and taste like, and I ordered the 3 LB bag because I eat figs as a snack. Is there no way to come back? Is this for real? br>I've heard that Amazon has trouble controlling the temperature in their warehouses and has issues with perishables, particularly in the summer, but I'm not sure. br>I've ordered Anna and Sarah dried figs for the second time. The first was the organic, which was fantastic. I'm not sure why I bought this one and now regret it. br>I'm not sure I'll order figs again, especially now that it's hot outside. br>I rely on Amazon reviews to make decisions, so I'm hoping this one will be useful. I just got the package, and my initial thoughts are as follows.
1. These dried figs are of a very large size, which I consider to be excellent. Although there are a few small figs, the majority of the figs are quite large.
2. The figs are a dark color, with only a few of them resembling the color in the photograph. Dried figs with a brighter color are preferable. After all, most foodstuffs, particularly those from specialized areas of cultivation, are feasted with our eyes before they are tasted.
3. The flavor is average, with a few being extremely dry. This is not a desirable trait. These characteristics can be seen in the images I provided. For a red color identification, I used a red tomato. br>Overall, I prefer them to the dried figs I buy at the Middle Eastern market. Markets in the east. And after these have been consumed, I may place another order. Thank you. br>br>.
It was a delicious meal. There aren't any bugs or mold on the premises. Nonetheless. br>br> They're just odd. br>br>The outsides appear to be dry, but the insides are soft and mushy, which isn't what I was expecting. At all. br>br>I used to have some fig trees on my property in southern California, many moons ago. I prefer dried figs to fresh figs because fresh figs are juicy but lack flavor. So I'd pick them, then dry them for weeks to let the sugars develop inside, which resulted in a "leathery" outside and a "dry" inside, similar to a Fig Newton, and a chewy inside-outside combination, which was a nice texture. br>br>These are both inside and out mushy. br>br>I'll finish the pack because they taste good, but something about them doesn't sit well with me, and I could be wrong. br>br>However, I'll be returning to Costco.
I'm completely dissatisfied with my current situation. I've ordered several varieties of figs over the years, but this was by far the worst: 1 out of every 3 figs is bad, and after only 9 figs, I have to discard the entire 3 pound bag. The figures are as follows: Dry, bitter, and unlike any other fig I've tried, this one tastes different. I'm not sure if it's just this bag or the entire product line, but I'll never buy anything else from this company again.
For the past fifteen years, I've been a regular fig consumer, consuming at least two pounds per month. It aids in the reduction of blood sugar, the cleansing of the liver, and the maintenance of a healthy digestive system. This product has been purchased by me on several occasions. I didn't feel like I was getting what I paid for each time. We have very fresh, organic, and highly delectable light darkish brown figs in Pakistan that cost around $5-$10. a pound of 7 If it's from Turkey, it was dried in an extremely unsanitary environment, as I discovered fungus on it. Some of them have had their lives completely ruined. I even got the impression they were sugarcoating them. It is not something I would recommend you purchase. Please find something else to do.
THE FIGURES YOU RECEIVE ARE NOT AT ALL LIKE THE LIGHT-UP IMAGES ON THE WEBSITE. Instead of the colorful figs depicted in this Amazon advertisement, the figs were dark brown to black in color, leathery in texture, and lightly sprayed with an unknown type of oil. NO, I would not purchase these again; however, I would purchase this company's BLACK MISSION FIGS, which were far superior! I've tried Turkish figs from a few other companies, and they simply don't compare to the fresher California Calimyrna figs!.
