Unfortunately, this is the first time I've had to write a negative review. Saladitos were one of my favorite foods as a kid. These were, unfortunately, hard, dried rocks. Yes, it's salty - The flesh of the Saladitos should not be as hard as rocks and inedible, as it should be. I am unable to endorse this product in good conscience.
Saladitos were a favorite of mine when I lived 25 miles from the border 30 years ago. I recently relocated to Spokane and discovered that there were no saladitos available, so I was thankful that Amazon had them.
There's something wrong with the description. There were ten of them and zero of them. Packages of 5 oz br>The package arrived very quickly, which I was very pleased with. br>The quality of the product was excellent. Exceptionally tasty! It's exactly how I remember it from my youth. br>With the upcharge, they are quite pricey. br>There are a total of ten packages in this package. $1 was written on each package. This company charges $16 instead of 00. That part irritates me because I rarely have the funds to purchase them. br>Aside from that, I'm overjoyed.

Saladitos are a favorite of my wife's. They are always tasty and fresh. Also excellent are the saladitos in juice. Every month, I'll place a new order.
The first pack I ordered was perfect, with salty, fleshy plums; however, the second pack I received was completely dried out. We'll see what happens if I order for the third time.
