Questions & Answers
I'm not sure, but I'm sure they're just mangos and nothing else, and they're delicious! 😄😃
The thin, flat strips are what they're called. It's not difficult to peel apart, perhaps like fruit roll-ups, though some are thicker than others. An aside: The pieces can be a little tougher to chew than jerky, which I don't like, but they're still tasty. I keep these with me at all times now.
They're dried, but they're so tender that they appear to be fresh.

I couldn't even pull the pieces apart because they were so tightly packed together, and after cutting the clump apart, I discovered mold growing in the middle compressed part, so I threw it out.
The slices are too thin, too dry, and have a lot of stringiness to them. Even the taste is a little strange. Dried mango is available in bulk at Whole Foods for around 85 cents per ounce.
They were delicious when I ordered them from Whole Foods, but they were on the verge of becoming moldy when I received them from Prime. It appeared that they were brown. I'm so let down.
How are these so delectable? Without any added sugar, sweet, gooey, and soft dried mango slices? You, Whole Foods, are a liar! Okay, I'm not interested in knowing if you're lying to me because the other kind (Natierra) is way too hard for my jaw muscles and not sweet. br>br>(Also, why are DRIED mango slices being compared to FRESH mangos? It's the equivalent of comparing beef jerky to a steak.
They received a one-star rating because they arrived open in the package that was supposed to be a gift for someone special who was going through a difficult time. Unfortunately, while they enjoyed some of the items, they did not receive the full value of what I paid for the random items I intended for that person to enjoy. Would stick to not getting food items from amazon again for such a thing again, better to personalize a gift in person and by making sure everything is 100% in great standing again v.
When I was on vacation, I bought these mango slices from Whole Foods and they were delicious. For both myself and my son, they were a delicious and nutritious snack. I was ecstatic to find these on Amazon because there isn't a Whole Foods within an hour and a half of my house. I read some of the Amazon reviews about freshness and how they recommended buying from Whole Foods, but I decided to give them a try anyway because they were so convenient. I should have heeded the advice of the critics. They were correct in their assessments. I purchased two packages, both of which are defective. The mango slices don't appear to be in good condition. They're all brown and have a different flavor than the ones from Whole Foods. I'm not sure what's going on here to cause the differences, but it's frustrating.
In mid-November, I bought one bag, which was of good quality and appeared to be fairly fresh. I recently bought two more bags of mango slices, and they are both stuck together and extremely hard and dry. Trying to eat them isn't worth the effort. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future. Costco sells a larger bag for a lower price, and they are always fresh and soft.
While it arrived a little dry (which isn't a big deal and can be fixed with a drop of water), the quantity was a pleasant surprise; I expected maybe four or five pieces, but it's a lot more. The flavor is excellent. This is a fantastic offer.
