From the package, this is what it says A brief description of each country's origin It was Thailand
This one is sulfered, don't you think? It definitely did not take the place of the ginger that was labeled as unsulfered. A couple of pieces of the pie made me nauseated for some reason. When I drink green tea, I feel exactly the same way. As a precaution, I tried it several times just to make sure the ginger wasn't the problem. The thing that made me sick prompted me to throw it away.
The preservative sulphur is sometimes added to dried foods as a preservative. Due to its absence in this version, it won't last as long however, I eat up so much of it that I'm not concerned about its longevity.
On the package, there are only ginger and cane sugar listed. It's the wrong package if you receive one with sodium nitrate. I'd contact Amazon and request a refund. A company such as this sells both of these.

I have tried these before and got addicted to them, but I was buying them from the self serve bins at the supermarket until I saw a lady let her baby reach into the bins with nasty fingers and eat My mind was changed by that. In view of these being available on Amazon, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, I feel bad that I did, because now I must go to Ginger Anonymous because I am again addicted to them. As I will end up eating the bag in one sitting, I need to be extra careful. When you try these for the first time, they have a peppery kick to them and you will get a tingle in your throat for a few moments, but believe me, even if you don't like them, you will insist on trying one more. This product is made in the U. S. (I am eating some as I write this) I might purchase the bigger bag next time. If you look up the benefits of ginger, research shows that it can reduce inflammation and pain in joints. The material is made in the U. S. but is sourced from Thailand just in case you are only interested in "Made in America" items.
The product has a very surprising amount of positive reviews since the ginger is delicious and I want to love it so much, but it's way too sweet for me. I didn't realize that it would taste like eating a sugar cube when the description said "sweet. ". Sugar wasn't coming off with a simple rub. It was still very sweet after shaking it around in a sieve, so I put it in a strainer and ran hot water over it before laying it out to air There is still some sweetness, but it is In this day and age, more and more people are turning to ginger products as a health-promoting alternative, making the claim "Health in Every Bite" misleading. Labeling this product as candy would be a good idea. As well, I attempted to reach out to the company via its website and the e-mail address on the package, but they were both "Nuts U. " is a company in the food processing industry. Although it is supposedly packaged in California, it doesn't necessarily mean that the products are made in the United States. It seems as though the company is shady.
In less than 10 days after I received the 3lb bag, it was As it only has ginger and sugar, it's quite sweet, but very gingery and peppery at the same time. have been meaning to write a review and saw that the unsulphured is out of stock. I think I would like to leave them a review if they restock it because I will keep buying this oil This is a delicious snack, one that will help with motion sickness, or to ease an upset stomach. These slices are so fun and delicious, I've never had anything like them before (I'm used to chunks in the brand I typically I really like the price and the quality of the 3 lb bag, much cheaper than the tiny bags I've seen at my local store, and the taste and texture are just what I've been looking for. Get these back in stock as soon as possible! It's more than I can afford! Yes, two pieces of the ginger were a bit stringy and I ate them anyway, and one piece was a little hard to chew so I tossed it in the compost, but it is just a natural phenomenon in ginger in my opinion. Because I cook with ginger a lot, I am aware that sometimes it can break, but honestly, the odd hard piece in a three pound bag is not that big of a deal to me. I've come across several brands of ginger crystallized on Amazon, but only this brand works for me at a great price. And this brand is the only unsulphured bulk product I've found.
It's the same dry crystalized ginger that can be found in the grocery store around the holidays. When I ordered this ginger I expected it to be similar to that. The amount I got at the farmer's market was four or five times what I would have paid at the grocery store, and the ginger was fantastic. It is moist, flexible, and I like it very much because I have plenty to eat and have a lot.
My research finally led me to learn that the noticeable differences in crystallized (candied) ginger are due to the use of chemicals during this process. A lot of the ones we've tried were light in color and flavor, and the textures were often weird. I discovered that this isn't normal A pure crystalized ginger infused with sulfur is available I was skeptical about purchasing the product at such a reasonable price, but two pounds for about $14 per week was worth a shot. This is amazing! It's exactly like I remember it from many decades ago when I used to buy ginger in China Town in San Francisco. This ginger is intensely flavored and the texture is perfect. Don't be put off by the color variations on the surface of the product as this is the nature of the raw product. Read the label to learn what you're getting nothing else but The use of no There is no preservative in this product There has been no addition. Greetings, I found this product to be excellent.
Received them today. I recommend them. My stomach was upset, I was feeling nauseous, etc. I ate a small amount of ginger in small bites to help my stomach. There's no longer any nausea in my body! I recommend this product to anyone who has stomach problems. This one pound bag contains one teaspoon of this product. There is a $12 charge at the health food store nearby. For one ounce, you will have to pay $ . 00. Buying this product from this company will be a regular occurrence for me as ginger is good for so many recipes!.
The portions were large. I find this label to be confusing. OK, the nutrition facts say that it has 23 grams of sugar per 28 gram serving, but there's only about a teaspoon extra sugar in there so I think it's not accurate. Despite the label stating 82% sugar, there isn't 82% sugar in it. I don't want my coworkers to try it because it has such a great spicy flavor. My next purchase will be more of the item, but the label needs to be fixed. There's something wrong with their math, but it's so far off that I can't see it.
The 3 lb bag is what I ordered. There has been almost no use for the bag since its arrival two weeks ago. In fact, I ordered a third 3 lb order. Despite the fact that I still have my bag. The flavour of these chips is so delicious that it was apparent I would have to limit myself or else I might eat the whole bag in a single week. There's no doubt about it. Besides cooking with ginger, I eat a little raw ginger as well and eat a little raw ginger too. My favorite part of this candied ginger is its flavor, however I'm sure all the sugar might make me ill. We wish there wasn't so much sugar used on the menu. There's a chance that I gained a pound or two from all that I highly recommend this candied ginger, so give it a try. The book is wonderful and I hope you enjoy reading it as well. The ginger had to be stored in a special container, so I bought one that was just for it. Consequently, I have to keep it hidden. While Oliver watches me take a few pieces of ginger from the container, he snarfs all of the remainder. As he reminds me, if I am not careful, I might become addicted to ginger. A/B = A/B.
