The service is hit or miss and I've ordered this several times. Getting them can make them soft and succulent, but it can make them hard and dry as well. According to my understanding, it depends on the batch. My experience is that they are plump and moist more often than they are hard and dry. It came in a five pound bag when I ordered the products some time ago. In my opinion, that would be better, since the bag would stay sealed better.
The figs in this recipe do not contain sulphur.

There is certainly no disappointment with these! There are some dry patches (duh! When eating the stems, I remove them. As I munched away for a few days, something caught my eye on one of them. However, I was very disappointed by these Turkish figs. A good size, an even coloring and a standard size are the features of these bags. But the skins are thick, tough, dry, and have a bland flavor. Some of these can be used for compote since they are not as enjoyable as other labels. I eat them out of the bag with my morning oatmeal, but I may also use some of these for compote. The dried fruit would be good to cook with if added some water, honey, and lemon.

I am ordering this item for the second time. I devoured the first one that came. In the second jar, we picked out the larvae and ate them, but the moths appeared in the jar and we cancelled eating them. Creating a new order will not be an option because we destroyed the balance of these.
It's hard to pick a favorite fruit, but figs are tops for me. When I go to my local food co-op, I usually buy a small bag of organic, dried Turkish figs I don't think anything can compare to the level of freshness at this location. Then again, I did want to see another high-flyer When I can't find them at the store, I can get them from this source It's the only brand that can compete with it. It has a very good taste and there are not too many dried out or chewy figs in the bag. It is recommended.
It is said that these figs are bad, but in reality, they are I felt that I didn't finish it soon enough, and that was the only letdown. Considering how many figs were in the basket, maybe the amount wasn't as much as I would like but it worked out in the end. I had a hard time finding a better product because the quality of all the figs was great and I had bought from them before to the same effect.
