Medjool dates are my favorite fruits, and even though they are cheaper, my local grocery store does not always carry them. I bought this product because I like Medjool dates. There is a clear indication that this offering has been pitted. I would say that's great. Only the pits were still present in the ones I received. It was fine, I thought, I'll just ask for a replacement, which the company moved quickly to send, apologizing for the inconvenience. The first pick was a bad choice, but I did not have time to return it because I'm working like crazy. It's good that I have the dates, though, isn't it? This is incorrect. In addition to the first container, the second one also had pits. They both ended up in the trash after I gave up. What we learned from this experience Hopefully I will be able to pass along the information. If they are available in the grocery store, buy them there. In spite of two containers of food being paid for, I It is such a thing to receive an e-mail from time to time The issue is one of commerce.
There isn't quite as much flavor in these as with the Californias. It usually takes me a little while to pick up Coachella dates, but they are pitted, which is a plus, and they are good. Since the package reads "Bard Valley Natural Delights", I initially thought they were grown in Arizona, but in fact, they come from.
The pros are I thought these dates were big, flavored (a bit like caramel), and clean (I did not find any insects outside of them in the past, I have found organic dates with insects). There is a good amount of texture to it, too, and it is not too mushy. The cons are I paid TEN for twelve ounces of this, which is extremely expensive.
We used these to make some homemade "energy balls" after processing them into a paste. They work great for sweetener and binding purposes.
It was the best date I have ever been on. The sweetness of a fresh date is just what I like. The best time of day is any time.
A delicious treat.
