They should be just the way they are. Compared to dates without pits, I much prefer medjool dates WITH pits, as they are more likely to keep their freshness and chewy texture for longer. Drying out is more likely to occur in these places. I've been buying medjool dates for a long time, so I have kind of a specific taste in dates. They didn't say pitted on the package, so I assumed they already They are great to do so. Therefore, it is safe to say that these taste just as good as they should. While I do not rate products based on price, these were nearly double what I normally pay for one pound in store or online. so, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again, and I will probably try more products from the company in the future. In terms of freshness, it's perfect. One of my favorite uses for them is to just eat them as they are. When I have them, I like to pair them with Brazil nuts. It has a pit in it, so I slide in a brazil nut or two and eat it like that. Is almost as sweet as candy! In addition to the snacks I make, I also It might be a good idea to include some coconut, nuts, chocolate, and To create sweet balls, just sort of roll them up. Dates that are very sweet. I prefer to bake with these instead of snacking on them. A crooked seal adorned the back of the brown envelope that contained these Medjool Dates. There is no photo like the one in the description. Nevertheless, it was sealed well, so my husband and I were eager to try it out. Large and meaty dates appear to be in season. The first time we bit into a pit, we were shocked. Although we thought it was a mistake, these definitely are unpitted, so be careful with them. There is a pit somewhere in there. There is a very, very sweet taste to the food. It is overwhelmingly too sweet for my taste buds, however my husband does not mind the sweetness at all. There is a natural sweetness to the dessert. Dates aren't as sweet as he usually likes, but he doesn't love these so much. While he says they taste decent, he does not like the fact that they have pits. The best use for these is probably baking or recipe development. Additionally, he said the taste of these dates is a bit off, but he was unable to explain the difference between these and other dates he has eaten. The packaging and the teste have not impressed me in the least. However, these do seem fresh, and if you are a fan of dates, you may enjoy them. There are pits hiding inside that you need to be aware of.
