Several years ago, I ordered some of these, and if my memory serves me correct, they are medjool dates.
It is simply a process of sun drying. There is no sulfites or sulfur added to the product.

We are always looking for new recipes! I have reached out to the Date Lady about recent batches that have been more chewy than previous batches, and she explained that when producing organic fruit in an unpredictable climate, sometimes harvests differ considerably. She sent me two bags, which were very different from the ones I had received from her in the past. Nonetheless, I was determined to find a way to enjoy these dates, and would like to share two ways to do so even when they initially seem too tight. I first soak them overnight in a cup of spring water after putting a handful into the water. I put the dates into the blender the next morning, pit them, and blend on high until they are crumbly then I add sea salt to taste. Then I blend it, and it tastes exactly like the best caramel sauce ever! If you like the taste of caramel, try dipping fruit in it, pouring it over oatmeal or yogurt, or any other fun things ) Second, I blend about 10 dates with a couple of cups of spring water and either wild blueberries or organic strawberries (frozen) for an effective recovery drink. It is absolutely delicious when you add a pinch of sea salt and some lemon or lime. When it's hot out, I drink this to prevent too many electrolytes from being lost when I sweat a lot, and that's also one of the reasons why it's such a nice recovery drink after exercise. A strawberry daiquiri almost looks like a lemon or lime daiquiri with lemon or lime juice. Also, it is possible to make delicious raw pie crusts by pulsing pitted dates with nuts such as cashews or walnuts, pressing them into pie pans, and filling them with whatever you like. If you use some of the date caramel blend above and slice apples with cinnamon as filling for a raw apple pie, it will turn out beautifully, but the possibilities are endless. Additionally, you can blend your morning smoothie or coffee with dates (soaked if they're too hard) if you would like to obtain some nutritional value in addition to the sweetness. The truth is that dates are actually recommended for diabetics, so they aren't something you should avoid or worry about if you're diabetic and watching your sugar level. - Years ago, I ordered 5 pound bags of dates on Amazon from various sellers. I still do this today, although it's not as convenient. In almost two years, I haven't been able to get my hands on a bag of moist, fresh dates, but I would soak them and use whatever I could. When I found this brand, I decided to buy the small bag to see what it was like. I am thoroughly blown away. The dough is so moist it is like caramel in a thin sugary coating. No matter how good my batches have been, whether I bought them on Amazon or bought them fresh, they didn't match this one. This is a beautiful dish with an amazing flavor, and a gooey, smooth texture. Quite possibly the best date I ever had. The products I want are now on order, and I'm looking forward to checking out the other items they have. My favorite part of this recipe is the fact that sticky toffee pudding doesn't require cooking!.
Whenever I go on a Date Lady Date, I am in heaven. Those were the best dates of my life. In a book called How Not To Die, I read about Date Lady, so I decided to give it a Now that I have the syrup and the sugar, I can't imagine not having them. My first impression of them was that they were dry and shrunken. . . Having ripped them open today I expected them to be tasty. Although I was disappointed, I know that crops may differ from one harvest to another. As I ate around eight of them before this happened, I was not surprised to see the I hate it! I'm very put out by this. Double bagging all the items and putting them outside on the street was the quick reaction I took. The second bag seemed to be okay after I opened it. At the moment, I've lost a bit of interest in them. The following is an update after one week I did not find any worms in the second bag. The quality is so good that I will purchase them again at my own risk.

I did not expect them to be so small. They are much bigger than I thought they would be. Do not judge them by their dry exterior and sweet interior. Nonetheless, I like them quite a bit. Because I go through them so quickly, I don't know how often I'll buy them. They're a little expensive for me, so I don't know how often I'll buy them. Although they are pricey, I am glad that I tried them and will probably splurge once in a while.
