Make sure you know what you're buying

It's a pleasure to read this to you if you're able. The product image on the back of the bag doesn't show the back of the product, the back of the bag, huh? I came across this product while browsing Amazon for dried, unsweetened cherries. The company makes a point of promoting its vegan and kosher credentials. You will see, however, that the product has been sweetened with cane sugar when you open it and read the label. Those sugared cherries just hit the spot for me. As I am used to the sweet version of unsweetened cherries, this is too sweet for me. An order of my usual product should be coming soon, however, I have to order a "new" item in the meantime. In the event that a new product arrives, these items will most likely be thrown away. This is not my cup of tea!.

I like it a lot, but I am not satisfied with the sealing of the package

As far as taste and resealing go, the bag does exactly as advertised. You can definitely taste cherries in them. I found the sweetness a tad overwhelming, and the tartness or sourness was very minimal. This works fairly well in neutral - I love yogurts with flavors.

Rather than being overpowering, their flavor is similar to cherries Like most other candies, this one is sweetened. As a result, I can eat 3X the amount for the same sugar loading in my daily trail mix.
