The 24 ounce bag I ordered was instead of the 16 ounce bag I received

This bag has a shipping weight of 24 ounces, according to the product description. A barcode label on the bag says that it is a 24 ounce bag, but it is actually 16 ounces in weight. There is no way to tell if this is a scam or if for some reason it was mislabeled, but either way it is a rip-off.

They are one of my favorite dried fruits and I always have to hide them from myself so I don't eat them straight out of My grandmother bought these when I was a kid and I used them in a fruit and nut cookie recipe for Thanksgiving. They are the same brand sometimes carried at Costco, but in smaller quantities.

The flavor is not fresh and there is no freshness

There was too much moisture in the berries. Despite being in a box, the cherries lost some of the freshness they might have had due to a lot of air inside the package. I didn't notice any difference in taste and it didn't add anything to my baking. The brand you are currently using might not be the right one for you.

The dried fruit is tart and I knew he would love it. I ordered two bags for him. I threw them away because he couldn't eat more than one at a time. He enjoyed them, but I couldn't eat them all.
