I love these snacks, they are great for midday munchies Trying to finish out the workday in the afternoon, I'm feeling low on energy. Plantains are sweet and I love the pairing of salty, slightly savory taste to the sweetness of the salt. My favorite part of the chip is the thin slice The flavor of the chips also makes them very easy to eat a couple at a time, unlike other plantain chips I've eaten.
I like it very much!.
These are so good, I love them!.
It seems that I am the only one to dislike them. The plantains were way too sweet for me. They tasted more like bananas than dried plantains and the salt did not add any flavor to the dish. I love the flavor of fried and dried plantains combined with salt and a little savory on the side. As for the difference, I'm aware of it. In truth, I liked the chili spice taste of these, and I probably would have liked them more if they were not so sweet. Nonetheless, they were relatively whole, which made a good bite out of them. They aren't greasy at all, since they are as hard as stones. Man, crunching down on these guys is a brute force exercise. Despite the fact that the ingredients are great, and the fact that they aren't fried, my children were not able to eat it, as it was very spicy and very hard. I tried really hard to like it, but it just wasn't worth it.
In spite of rarely writing reviews, I felt the need to leave one here since I was on the fence about buying from such a new-to-me Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested! I find these to be straight up delicious and have the perfect amount of salt. The crunch is just right as well. In my opinion, they are best eaten straight from the bag or put on I dip them in Nutella or hummus when I'm with my boyfriend When I first saw these, I was a little worried about how addictive they might be, but then I saw they were really not that caloric (even if you ate the whole bag! )! I love them as much as my nieces, and getting them to eat something other than chicken fingers and cookies is a major As of now, I've tried all the flavors and I like them all for different snacks (coconut oil is my favorite I have bought more of this flavor and will continue to do so. There's just the tiniest touch of savory to it, which I like a lot.
Having these as a snack is a smart choice. I love serving them along with olive oil and salt because they're simply seasoned plantains, olive oil and salt. I love their slightly sweet flavor paired with the salt, which is perfect for the sweet n salty lover. Their thin and crispy thinness makes them a favorite for snacking. It is much better than the thicker ones I've used in the past. Moreover, they come in resealable pouches, making it convenient to store them. 260 calories in a whole bag is not much, so I like to eat it all at once.
