I was about to place an order for dried blueberries for my mother and wife to put in their oatmeal. The store's packages are small and expensive, so I figured I'd look online for something cheaper and possibly healthier. This organization has truly impressed me. The blueberries are large and delicious. Many nutritionists recommend eating a cup of berries every day, and I believe this is a great company to start with. I prefer to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, but even when they are in season, they are too expensive, and you never know if they will be tasty or bland. I also enjoy their pumpkin kernels. I sincerely hope that this business succeeds. Enjoy your reading and eating.
My parents recently returned from a trip to Southeast Asia, bringing home dehydrated strawberries (without any added sugar). They were tasty and nutritious, in my opinion. br>br>Once I was done with them, I looked on Amazon for a similar product. I decided to give this GERBS product a try because it looked similar to what I was eating. There was a lot of sugar in these. br>br>I suppose this is a product to consider if you want a fruity-tasting candy, but it doesn't taste anything like dried fruit.
When I give these to my dogs, they think they're getting something special. The price is reasonable, and I have the option of ordering a larger bag, which I did this time, opting for 4 pounds!!.
The 2nd batch is on top, and the 1st is on the bottom in my photo. The first fruit I bought was small, ripe, and sweet, but it seemed "dried" to me. They were a tasty snack that went well in my trail mix, so I wanted to have more. The strawberries in the second purchase were much larger, moister, less "snackable sized," less ripe, and bitter. Though I will make a strawberry pie with the less appealing strawberries, I was disappointed because I really wanted the same, smaller, sweeter strawberries. Despite the fact that these were on PRIME, I was unable to process or request a return for a replacement bag so that I could try again. I just wanted to let you know about a potential product variation with this purchase. *I've had a lot of trouble finding DRIED strawberries in stores because they're all freeze dried. This appears to be one of the few, if not the only, low-cost options; best of luck.
Actually, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. These, I believe, are currently unavailable while the company works to correct Amazon's error. Amazon mistakenly used the barcode for sweetened banana chips on some Gerbs unsweetened banana chips. I was extremely pleased with the company's response to my order, and I immediately placed another order on the Gerbs website. People are friendly, and the food is absolutely delectable. br>br>Peanut butter and these chips are a match made in heaven. It's now my favorite dessert/snack, with the addition of Gerbs dried diced mangos (which I eat with a spoon). It's unbelievable how good it is.
My product packaging's "best before" date was March 1, 2020. The date on which I received my product was March 2, 2020. They're still chewy, but they're starting to show signs of wear. This brand was a little more "sweet" than others I've tried, but it was fine overall.
They're enormously large, flavorful, and sweet, with just a hint of zing and tartness. They're about the same size as a dried blueberry found in a pre-packaged snack. packaged trail mix or cereal (with a diameter of at least 1cm (3/8in) This was my first purchase of this item, and it will not be my last; I've used them in my own trail mix with pecans, walnuts, and almonds, and they add a wonderful sweetness and moisture to the nuts; for anyone watching their sugar intake, these are a great way to add sweetness without going overboard. 50 calories, 10 grams of total sugar, and 5 grams of added sugar are in a 1 oz (28 g) serving. The nutritional information can be found on the nutrition label in my photo. Enjoy!.
Finding them in that condition is a bit of a challenge! It's easy to chew these (but not too much!). ), they have a slight "bite," and I can eat them without my tongue becoming a flamethrower. If you don't like the larger sugar crystals, you can easily brush them away. In our house, we've been eating dried ginger for decades, and these are just as good as any we've bought. We'll buy them again from Gerbs without a doubt.
